Where Founding Members Can Contribute

Founding-team participants can contribute through industry experience, technology expertise, commercial relationships, operating knowledge or company-building capabilities.

Key areas of contribution include:

Automotive-market and operating insight.
Product and technology strategy.
Customer and partner introductions.
Enterprise commercialization and industry positioning.
Company-building, hiring and operating guidance.
Capital strategy and appropriate investor introductions under applicable company policy.

The expected contribution will depend on the selected portfolio company, the individual’s experience and the stage and needs of the company.

Two Paths to Participate

Founding Member

Founding Members generally begin with a flexible, limited contribution while both sides evaluate working fit and determine which Primary Portfolio Company is the appropriate match.

The initial relationship can provide an opportunity to understand the company’s operating problem, market, product direction and team requirements before considering any expanded role.

Potential Co-Founder

Potential Co-Founders are considered after mutual evaluation and must be prepared to assume substantial, continuing operating responsibility.

Co-Founder authority, time commitment, vesting and equity are negotiated separately and documented in definitive agreements. No title or equity is granted merely by applying or participating in discussions.
