Aperture Venture Studio develops industry-focused businesses that connect identification, sensing, AI decision-making, and controlled physical action. We bring together applied research, shared technology development, and commercial execution to address practical industrial needs.

An Industrial Venture Portfolio
Our development program spans 64 venture brands across 11 industry groups, covering manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, logistics, transportation, and other industrial operations. Each venture focuses on a defined customer segment and its operating priorities.
The shared model supports technical reuse while allowing each venture to develop its own product scope, customer relationships, and commercial direction. Brands differ in technical maturity, customer validation, and legal formation; a portfolio listing does not itself indicate a commercially available product or an open investment round.
Applied Research Supporting Venture Development
Aperture Physical AI Research Labs develops industrial systems that identify, sense, decide, and act. Its eight research programs investigate sensing, diagnostics, decisions and control, simulation, robotics, assurance, security, and industrial knowledge.
We are developing a central research website and eight specialist websites to present the research network, methods, and available work. Research can contribute reusable components and evaluation methods; each venture must establish evidence for its own application.
Shared Technology With Industry Focus
The Aperture AIoT Engine™ connects identification, sensing, and AI decisions. The Aperture Physical AI Engine™ adds a Physical AI Action Engine to connect authorized decisions with integrated equipment, controllers, actuators, robots, or other physical systems.
Ventures adapt relevant components to their applications. The appropriate capabilities and level of automation depend on customer needs, equipment interfaces, data, and evaluation evidence.
Built on GAO Technology Experience
Aperture draws on experience across GAO Research, GAO Tek, and GAO RFID in embedded communications, industrial technology, identification, sensing, and IoT. That background informs our understanding of industrial systems and customer requirements.
Invest in or Help Lead a Venture
Investors can explore a selected venture’s customer problem, team, technical progress, validation evidence, and next milestone. Business co-founder candidates may help lead business development, sales, marketing, partnerships, or strategy. Technical co-founder candidates may help lead applied AI, systems integration, product engineering, and delivery.
